NetComm Suisse is organizing this Executive Workshop, a closed-door platform for sharing expert opinion, in cooperation with Dagorà. The workshop is aiming to better understand the innovation needs of fashion brands based in Ticino in order to support the sector’s growth.
Fashion has a high significance for the economy of the Canton Ticino. According to official data, the fashion sector in Ticino in 2017 generated a profit of CHF 335m and employed more than 9000 people across 700 companies. To ensure the growth of the fashion sector, a profound understanding of the interplay within the cluster – formed by fashion brands, tech companies, start-ups, and financial institutions – is crucial.
This exclusive executive workshop is focussed on sharing insights on how fashion brands are investing in R&D in Ticino and what partners they are seeking in their “Open Innovation” initiatives, with the aim to clearly formulate the needs of the players within the ecosystem.
The agenda includes several case studies that highlight the innovation process of the fashion sector from different perspectives from the industry’s stakeholders. This includes the cases of fashion brands, tech companies and consultants, investors, and institutions. We invite only a limited number of 20 attendees as we want to ensure an interactive setup and intimate atmosphere where all participants feel comfortable to share their experience and knowledge.
